Processing instructions:
The adhesive surfaces must be clean, dry, stable and free of grease. Smooth sealant with BTI smoothing agent (item no. 9 001880). Do not apply the smoothing agent to the sealant itself but only to the smoothing tool. Tools can be cleaned with alcohol immediately after use.
Highly absorbent substrates must be treated with Primer S150 Porous (Art. No. 9 057775). Pre-treat smooth, difficult-to-wet substrates, such as powder coatings, with Primer Surface Activator (Art. No. 9 057777). It must be checked in advance whether the material properties meet the desired requirements. Further information can be found in the technical data sheets.
Silicone neutral plus is suitable for glazing between the frame and laminated safety glass. Avoid direct contact between the sealant and the laminated safety glass. A risk of yellowing cannot be ruled out in the event of contact with white alkyd resin paints. Due to the possible influences during processing, it is generally recommended to carry out your own tests. Remove excess smoothing agent from the glass and frame.
