The line finder set makes it easier to find lines in the wall and in cable ducts. To do this, a signal is modulated onto one end of the cable using the transmitter via the alligator clips or an optional adapter. The other end of the cable can then be found quickly and precisely with the receiver, even without contacting or stripping the insulation. Paired wires can also be precisely identified in telecommunications and network technology.
