Processing instructions:
Technical information on laying:. The BTI floorboard joint tape should be pressed in immediately after the floorboards have been laid. When processing, make absolutely sure that the tape is not stretched when it is pressed into the joint. Otherwise the band will contract again after a while and will then be too short. Leave the BTI floorboard joint tape about 10 mm longer for each running meter of joint length. The excess length should protrude evenly at both ends. Like all materials that are exposed to temperature fluctuations, the BTI floorboard joint tape changes its length. Approximately 1 year after laying, no more changes are to be expected and the protruding ends can be cut off. The distance between the substructure timbers should not be greater than 400 mm, otherwise the tape may be pushed out due to severe bending of the decking boards. Distance between the planks at least 6 mm. When using system fasteners SB-U1, the use is only possible to a limited extent. It can only be used on patio decks that have been laid with WPC or thermally treated planks. The laid floorboards should not show any swelling or shrinkage! In addition, sufficient ventilation (at least 8 cm) underneath the terrace floor must be ensured.
