Hints:
When using hardener D4, the times are extended by approx. 50%. If stored very cold, gently thaw to room temperature and stir before use.
Processing instructions:
The materials to be glued must be free of dust, grease and air-conditioned. Ideal wood moisture content between 8 – 10% indoors, 10 – 14% for windows. The most favorable processing temperature is +18 °C to +20 °C. Do not process below +10 °C. BTI glues are ready for use; Diluting and adding extenders change the glue. For hard and exotic woods, we recommend applying glue on both sides. Apply with a brush, notched trowel, hand glue device or glue applicator. Wood and wood-based materials are natural materials that, depending on the growing area, can cause discoloration in individual cases due to wood-specific properties. When using as D4 glue with hardener D4, stir in the specified amount of hardener (5%) until a good mixture is achieved. After the pot life of 24 hours has elapsed, stir the remaining amount vigorously, then the remaining amount can be further processed as D3 glue or hardener can be added to the remaining amount again to achieve D4 gluing.
