Mirror tape, white, 19 mm x 10 m, 1 ROL
Main features short:
Excellent shear strength
For long-term attachment indoors and outdoors
Application areas:
For attaching mirrors, window bars, signs, panels, moldings, etc.
Hints:
Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes are not suitable for overhead bonding. They can only serve as an assembly aid for this special application. For attaching low-energy plastics, such as B. in the furniture industry (veneer foils and other critical plastic-coated surfaces with low surface tension) are used, a special tape is required. Porous surfaces (e.g. concrete) or fibrous materials (e.g. wood) require sealing. This can e.g. B. be achieved by an appropriate coating. It is always important to have a smooth, clean, dust- and grease-free surface. Gluing on soft PVC requires a primer or special adhesive tapes to reduce the consequences of any plasticizer migration. Since we have no influence on the composition of the surfaces to be bonded, we recommend application-related suitability tests.
Processing instructions:
In order to achieve a permanent bond, the surfaces to be bonded must be dry, dust-free and free of release agents and oils. The adhesive surface must not be touched. Use material-compatible solvents such as petrol or alcohol as cleaning agents. Cleaning wipes should be lint-free and used only once. Condensation is to be avoided. Apply adhesive tape to the material surface using a pressure roller or squeegee. Hard adhesives require greater contact pressure than soft adhesives. Apply stress to the bond after 24 hours at the earliest. . Please ensure that you always stick vertically (see gluing examples), never vertically and horizontally at the same time. With a combination of vertical and horizontal gluing, there is overstatic and the gluing cancel each other out.
