Product advantages:
REPHALT is environmentally friendly and consists exclusively of environmentally friendly raw materials
Is recyclable and contains no volatile solvents
Rain after installation does no harm
Not sensitive to frost and can still be processed at temperatures below 0 °C
Asphalt mix made from hard chippings and a special binder with hardening properties
Is processed cold and, after being completely sprayed with water, hardens within about an hour at temperatures of around 20 °C - depending on the prevailing conditions - but can be driven on immediately after compaction
When hardened, it is approximately equivalent to a cooled “hot mix” and has excellent stability
Hints:
Grain size: 0/8 mm for layer thicknesses of 25mm - 60 mm Pallet quantity bucket: 24 pieces
Processing instructions:
External conditions:. The surface must be clean, free of loose components and dry or slightly damp. Surface may be slightly warm or slightly cool. Store in a warm room before processing.
Processing:. Mixed material is placed on a surface with a shovel or trowel and distributed slightly raised with a rake or trowel. The layer is then sprayed with water so that the water can penetrate into the open structure and wet the entire mix. Recommendation: min. 0.5 - max. 1.0 l of water per 25 kg container. The mix is then compacted
Material requirements:. 25 kg for 1 square meter with a layer thickness of 1 cm
More information:. Partially emptied containers should be processed sooner, as the entry of atmospheric moisture causes gradual hardening in the container.
