Application areas:
Ideal for pouring joints, cracks or seams in asphalt and concrete (e.g. between house walls and paving or asphalt floor)
Application on roads and bridges of all load categories, but also in private and corporate areas
Bonding of roofing membranes and foils as well as marking buttons on asphalt and concrete
Casting electrical cables in joint cuts

Product advantages:

Very good adhesion to asphalt and other solid building materials as well as low surface tack
REFUG remains permanently plastic and moves with the joint if it stretches (summer/winter)
Cold-processable, 2-component joint sealing compound that hardens relatively
Curing time at 25°C to a plastic/elastic consistency is approximately 1 hour
After two weeks of lying time, the requirements for elastic hot casting compounds are met

Hints:
A static mixer is included per cartridge
Immediately clean the work equipment thoroughly with a paper towel and remove the remaining material with solvents (biodiesel or similar).
Limited shelf life. Store in a cool, closed room, always protected from frost and in a dry place

Processing instructions:
Due to the viscosity, the temperature of the casting compound must be at least 10°C for problem-free processing. The curing time depends on the temperature and decreases as the temperature increases.
The temperature of the asphalt surface must be above +5°C, otherwise the joint must be preheated and dried with hot air (if necessary, gently with a gas burner) immediately before pouring
The outside temperature should ideally be between +5°C and +30°C
Use only in dry weather
Joints must be clean, free of loose components and adhering dirt, sufficiently strong and dry
Concrete surfaces and joints must also be primed
Extremely narrow joints ( 2 mm opening width) does not absorb enough material and cannot be cast permanently (crack must be enlarged)
Approximately 1.2 kg is required to fill 1dm³ volume
For joint widths over 2 cm, we recommend using Split 4/8 or 8/11. The hardening of the material must always be checked before it is released for traffic
