Application areas:
For fastening door frames and for insulating sealing of connection joints on windows, doors, shutter boxes, etc.
Processing instructions:
The substrates must be clean, dry, stable and free of grease. A primer coat with BTI Primer S100 PU (item no. 9 057776) is recommended for extremely absorbent surfaces. Excessively wet surfaces can cause the foam to shrink. Turn the rotary wing on the bottom of the can to the right at least 6 times. Shake the can vigorously about 20 to 30 times. Remove the cap and screw on the adapter tightly. Make sure that the valve is not activated. After activation and shaking, wait 30 seconds before starting processing. The amount of foam output can be regulated by tilting the adapter with the valve pointing downwards. Note that the foam has a uniform pink color. If this is not the case, turn the rotary blade to the right again and repeat the shaking process. Fresh foam stains can be removed with BTI PU foam cleaner (item no. 9 338095). Hardened foam can only be removed mechanically. Do not use cans above +25 °C (danger of bursting). If necessary, cool the can in cold water. Pay attention to pot life; Be sure to process the foam within 5 minutes of mixing, otherwise the can can heat up to over +50 °C (danger of bursting). It is not advisable to bond swinging/vibrating components.
