Montagefix B1, orange, 800 ml, 12 DOS
Main features short:
Excellent thermal insulation
Easy handling and high yield
Clean, quick and economical bonding
Application areas:
Bonding of insulating boards in the perimeter area, on the facade (not tested for ETICS) and on the roof; Filling of cavities between individual thermal insulation elements
Processing instructions:
The adhesive surfaces must be stable, clean and free of grease. Screw the can firmly onto the gun thread and shake vigorously about 30 times with the gun pointing downwards. If there are longer breaks, repeat shaking. Apply facade foam directly to the substrate. The pistol should be held as vertically as possible during use. At least 3 strands per m² are required. The amount of adhesive must be increased accordingly in the edge and corner areas and in the case of increased wind suction. Then allow the foam to air out briefly and press the insulation boards down within 8 minutes. Hardening can be accelerated by lightly spraying with water. Fill all open joints in the insulation with Montagefix B1. The bond must not be loaded or walked on within the curing time (2 hours). Foam that has not hardened can be removed immediately with BTI gun cleaner, hardened adhesive foam can only be removed mechanically.
Characteristics:
Clean, quick and economical bonding
Easy handling and high yield
Excellent thermal insulation
Optimally compensates for unevenness
Solvent-free
Resistant to a wide range of solvents, paints and chemicals
Age-resistant, non-rotting
Not UV resistant
Water resistant (not waterproof)
Excellent adhesion to many substrates such as e.g. B. concrete, polystyrene, polyurethane and phenolic resin foam, fiber cement, and corrosion-protected sheet steel
No adhesion on bitumen, PE, PP, PTFE and silicone
